Impact Toys
SIN makes two impact instruments, and both of them live inside the BONE signature set rather than being sold as a separate line.
- Flogger — soft falls on a weighted handle. Built for warmth and rhythm rather than sting, which makes it the more forgiving of the two to learn on.
- Paddle — broad, flat and forgiving. The most intuitive piece in the case to start with.
Buying them
The flogger and the paddle both come as part of the eleven-piece BONE set, in Burgundy or Obsidian Noir. The PEARL Impact Paddle is also sold on its own, in ivory microfiber and pearl, on zinc alloy, and it ships in its own round vault case.
There is no standalone flogger SKU at the moment. If that is the only piece you want, the BONE set is currently the way to get it.
Choosing between flogger and paddle
A flogger spreads force across many falls, so the sensation is broad and builds slowly. A paddle concentrates it into one flat surface, so it lands sharper and more suddenly. Most people find the flogger easier to control at first; most people find the paddle easier to aim.
